Esme Surveys Her Potential Kingdom

Esme looks out over the landscape. Where does she belong?

Esme is a sculptural figure in cloth. She stands 18" and is modified from the "Body Basic" design by Mary Tressler. She is a full-figure sculpt. All of Esme's clothing items are custom designed by the artist. She wears a faux dupioni gown with an overcoat of acetate brocade. Her pendant is handmade and is suspended from a necklace which is embellished with crystals, as is her belt. Also embellished with crystals, her scepter is Super Sculpey with a genuine quartz crystal. Her overcoat, shoes, and kufi cap are trimmed with glass seed beads. And just look at that hair! Willow Oak is proud to welcome Esme as queen of the realm - she's found her kingdom!

Lady Beatrice and Chloe

Lady Beatrice waits for her prince to come. Will it be soon? Little Chloe waits patiently with her and watches for him as well.


Beatrice is a seated full-body cotton sculpt (standing height 15") modified from a pattern by Mary Tressler. Her hair is needle-felted Kanekalon, her blouse polyester organza, and her bodice is hand-painted glove leather laced up the back with a satin ribbon.
She wears four underskirts, two green and two mauve, two with production trim and two with hand-crocheted trim. Her overskirt is embroidered crinkle crepe, and her top underskirt is a hand-dyed doily with ribbon trim. She's barefoot, but her little toenails and fingernails are painted a delicate pink. She wears a handmade crystal necklace and a handmade beaded tiara.


Chloe is a needle-felted companion of 100% wool with bead eyes and a satin bow around her neck.

Ratpunzel

Ratpunzel's waiting for the handsome rat prince to come and rescue her from the fire escape on which she's been living. While she waits, she's brushing her long, long hair.

Ratpunzel stands approximately 15" tall on her glossy black base that's embellished with black glitter. She wears fishnet stockings and little lace glovelets and a faux crocodile bustier trimmed in furry, glittery braid over her black tank. Her ensemble is completed with an acetate skirt over black tulle. She has a handcrafted hairbrush, complete with bristles, to brush her braided, ribbon-adorned poly hair. Ratpunzel wears a handcrafted silver colored cheese pendant.

This sculptural figure and all of her accessories are one-of-a-kind handcrafted originals by the artist.
